Cyprus is the birthplace of Aphrodite; the enigmatic Goddess of Love It is a continual show of nature that is breathtaking in its beauty.

The North of the island is unspoilt and uncommercialised with people renowned for their hospitality and their warm, friendly welcome. With its delightful local cuisine, its natural pure beauty and its resorts free from crowds, this is a truly distinctive holiday destination.

Located in the Mediterranean, just 40 miles off the Southern coast of Turkey, the island’s strategic position has meant that Cyprus was the stepping-stone between East and West - the historical crossroads of the ancient world. There is a regular ferry service from the North for those wishing to explore mainland Turkey

Since 1974 the island has been divided, with the North home to the local Turkish Cypriot population. The local language is Turkish and the currency is the Turkish lira. Most people speak good English and driving is still on the left-hand side of the road. Hospitality is a way of life here, and the British in particular are treated as long-lost friends.

If you are looking for the perfect quiet, holiday location with a relaxed atmosphere - one that will really allow you to leave behind the stresses of modern life - Northern Cyprus is the place to discover. A unique place where the pace of life is that of a bygone age.
